Traditional and Independent Study
Hunter Education Course Schedule

These courses are for traditional and independent study hunter education students only. These courses are NOT for online students. YOU MAY NOT MIX AND MATCH TRADITIONAL / INDEPENDENT STUDY COURSES WITH ONLINE COURSES.

In some smaller and remote communities, Hunter Education courses are scheduled when an adequate number of students have registered. For more information, contact the ADF&G office in your area.

All hunter education classes have a fee of $10 (cash or check) payable at the time that you sign up. You must sign up in person at the Fish & Game office in the community where the class will be held.

ANCHORAGE	10/15/2010	FIELD DAY ONLY FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO HAVE TAKEN HUNTER ED THROUGH THEIR SCHOOL. Call 267-2373 for class time and to sign up.
ANCHORAGE	11/06/2010	Saturday, 8am - 5pm.
ANCHORAGE	12/18/2010	FIELD DAY ONLY FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO HAVE TAKEN HUNTER ED THROUGH THEIR SCHOOL. Call 267-2373 for class time and to sign up.

FAIRBANKS	11/08/2010 – 11/09/2010	Monday & Tuesday, 6pm - 10pm

HOMER	10/01/2010 – 10/02/2010	Two day course: Friday 5:30pm - 9pm at Homer High School, AND Saturday 10am - 4pm at Kachemak Gun Club. Sign up at ADF&G Office in Homer. $10 cash or check.
JUNEAU	09/03/2010 – 09/04/2010	Fri: 6-9pm; Sat: 8am-3pm. Held at Juneau Hunter Ed Shooting Complex (JHESC), 5670 Montana Creek Rd. Study materials may be picked up at the Douglas Island Fish & Game office (Rm 201, 465-4265) or the JHESC (586-4101).
PALMER	10/02/2010	Saturday, 8am - 5pm.
SOLDOTNA	10/09/2010	Saturday, 8am - 5pm.
